The Postcard Hotel

The Postcard Hotel is a 3-star hotel on Tuan Chau Island, 6.3 km from the town centre, with sea-view rooms that have balconies or terraces. The range runs from a 20 m² double with an extra-large super-king bed to a 28 m² family room for four, with twin and triple layouts in between and a single dormitory bed for solo travellers.

Most rooms are air-conditioned and have a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom, and several include a minibar or soundproofing. On site there is a restaurant that serves breakfast and high tea, room service, a garden and a terrace, a tour desk and bicycle rental, and a 24-hour front desk. The sea-view rooms form the core of the range: the Deluxe Double Room with Balcony, the Superior Twin Room with Sea View, the Superior Triple Room with Sea View, the Deluxe Family Room and the Deluxe Triple Room with Sea View all look out over the water from a balcony or terrace, and each has a private bathroom and air conditioning.

The Standard Twin Room with Shared Bathroom and the dormitory bed share a toilet, and both are air-conditioned, while the Superior Triple Room has a bath, a view and a flat-screen TV for three guests but no balcony or terrace. Sizes run from 20 m² for the doubles and twins to 28 m² for the family and triple rooms, and the beds range from single beds and king-size beds to super-king options.

The restaurant serves breakfast in its dining room or in the room, with full English or Irish, Asian, American and buffet options, and room service is also available. A 24-hour front desk, a tour desk, bicycle rental, car hire and a shuttle service sit alongside daily housekeeping and laundry, and an airport shuttle is offered as well.

Outdoors there are a garden, a terrace with outdoor furniture and a lift between the floors. Family rooms, non-smoking rooms, luggage storage and grocery deliveries round out the practical side of the stay.

Free private parking is possible on site without a reservation, and WiFi in the rooms is free of charge. Flat-screen TVs and internet services are provided in the rooms.

The Postcard Hotel stands on Tuan Chau Island, which is joined to the mainland by a causeway and lies 6.3 km from the town centre. Tuan Chau Beach is 250 m away and Paradise Bay Beach 300 m, with Bikini Island Beach at 850 m and Marina Bay Beach at 2.1 km, so the two nearest beaches are a few minutes' walk from the hotel. Tuan Chau Park, a theme park, is 950 m away, and the island's harbour is where most day and overnight cruises to the bay depart.

Boat and coach journeys can start from two points close by: the Tuần Châu Ferry Terminal is 1.9 km away and the Bai Chay Bus Terminal is 4.9 km. For a meal, the restaurant 1958 is 1.3 km away and Cua Vàng is 1.6 km, with Southern Hotel, a café-bar, also 1.6 km and Chill Beach Bar only 500 m from the hotel.

For sights, Thien Cung Cave is 3.3 km away and Dau Go Cave 3.5 km, while Bai Chay Beach is 3.8 km and Dinh Huong Islet 4.3 km from the hotel. Fighting Cock Islet is 5.8 km away and Dragon's Run 6 km, and Chùa Minh Tâm pagoda is 6 km. For markets, Cái Dăm Market is 3.9 km and Chợ Vườn Đào market 6.8 km. Sunworld, the large amusement complex on the Bai Chay side of the bay, is 6.3 km away, and the Ga Đại Dương cable car station is 6.4 km.
